The Turn Around

"Do what you can with what you've got wherever you are."
~Theodore Roosevelt

A shorty on this lovely hump day. While I get the whole "getting over the hump" idea, Hump Day has always just sounded weird to me. I need to call it something else. Like an out and back run, it should just be called "The Turn Around". Right?! It is usually the day of the week where things start to turn around, mostly because we all feel the end in sight...the weekend that is.

Ok, so I missed the Tuesday Tidbit, but for good reason. I got to excercise. Yup, details will follow with my "How I rocked this week" exercise summary that I'll likely post on Sunday after I have completed the Rock Your Socks Virtual 10K. In the mean time, with the crazy schedule I try and keep, here is to doing what I can, with what I've got, wherever I am. Which means..... Always keep a stocked gym bag in the car. Since I missed the Tuesday Tidbit, here is a little Tuesday tidbit about me, on a Wednesday. I hate pink on little girls, yuck. However, I love, LOVE pink on me. Pink phone cover, pink lap top cover, my favorite bondi band is pink. LOVE-LOVE-LOVE pink. Pink on little girls? So plain, so bland, so expected and soooo pushing the whole "girly" helpless thing. I have to admit when worn tough style with jeans, browns or black, little ones can pull it off without looking like helpless little marshmallows. If you are asking? My daughter rarely wears pink.

Thankful Three
1. For a sale on cereal, this food can be breakfast, lunch or dinner, your call
2. For getting a decent nights sleep
3. For getting more me time this afternoon...it's looking like a workout then happy hour kind of day

It took me a long time to like pink. I think I had to gain more confidence in myself before I could wear it. Now i wear it with pride!
