Sleep 'til you're hungry,
eat 'til you're sleepy.

I so wanted to post yesterday, but also tried to not to over do it and wait for today instead. Not that I had a bazillion things to say because right now all I can remember is I wanted to post yesterday and right now I have no frick'n idea about what. Short term memory loss? How was everyone's weekend? Ours started out with sleeping late on Saturday, like really late. 9:45AM late. My son was up, but we went ahead and let netflix babysit The Duder while Super Hubby, The Bug and I laid in bed. Dreamy. Trip to bagels, farmers market, a little Mary Kay party then the most amazing rainbow ever. Ah ha! That was it, I wanted to blog about this rainbow. We saw it near the local levy and it was literally right on top of us, once we got into our neighborhood the light pollution pushed it way, but we could still see the whole thing end to end. I think that is what I wanted to blog about yesterday. Was way more exciting than I am articulating right now. I probably should have typed more about the fun friend time at the Mary Kay thing or the products I bought. Oooh, even better I could've talked more about how I cleaned out every stand at Farmer's Market of their Beets and roasted the for the week... with carrots. Delious! P.S. I need help with cooking fresh Fava Beans.
Today my basketball game was cancelled because too many of us couldn't make it to the game, I was bummed, but slightly happy because it meant we could do dinner with a large group of friends. In addition to eating pizza for dinner, I spent all day at our Jewish Food Fair eating or purchasing way too much food. I am excited to eat, but not excited to gain weight...will have to figure out how to balance that out with Potato Piroshki's, Dobos Torte, Sour Cream Chocoloate Chip Coffee Cake, Cheese Cake, Chocolate Chip Cheese Cake, Chocolate Covered Strawberry's, Latke's, Baklava and Banana Bread all in my fridge. Actually I already ate the strawberries and have plans to give the Banana Bread to a grieving family. I know too much food, but it all freezes well AND it was for a good cause. Did I mention the corned beef sandwiches for lunch. Crazy day, obviously not calorie counting today.
Do you go Crazy at Fairs, Carnivals or Farmer's Markets?
The good news is I ran into my running partner whom I haven't run with in like 2 weeks and we have agreed we need to get started again. Good agreement. Why I Kick A$$: All 132 of my cakes sold today no problem.

Wow, you made 132 cakes. That is awesome.
Sounds like a great weekend. I would have loved to see that rainbow. Right now all we see in Colorado Springs is the smoke from the Wildfire in Arizona. Totallly screwing my asthma up!
mmmmmmmmmmm now I want a cupcake!
that sounds like so much fun! We went to a food festival this weekend, samples were $1 each, lets say I made sure I had plenty of singles, just fo me : )

I love eating ... that's why I run.
