Sunday Summary: Home Sweet Home?

Insanity is hereditary -
you get it from your kids.
~Sam Levenson

Long story short. Temporary eating adjustment went well. I felt confident at my work meeting. I worked out all three days at the hotel gym. Score! I ate terribly and had the desert of a life time at The Gambling Cowboy, Temecula, Ca. Highly recommended. Simple brownie sundae, but with a meringue on top that was almost marshmallowy....delicious! I am sure you all remember me bragging about how I live is a perfect place in California, close to San Francisco, close to Yosemite and close enough to L.A. I do not however live close enough to have a comfortable drive to Temecula. Ugh, it was pretty bearable the first 5 hours, but the last 2 each way were tough.

Moving on I am so happy to be home. Home sweet home. I got to have a nice workout this AM and tried the stairmaster and a new circuit. Both were hard and I did not like them LOL Lovely lunch with my mom, 2 aunts and 2 nieces for my mom's birthday then a nice afternoon with my family. Park, dinner, poop blow out that go on the seat of my car, an almost empty diaper bag so my daughter had to ride home in a diaper and socks and then the tread on my front left tire started to come off so I got a hands on lesson from the hubby on how to change a tire while The Bug chillaxed in her diaper in the car and The Duder had a tantrum because he couldn't stand outside and watch. I thought the night was going perfectly, but no it only got better. Complete melt down by my 4 yr old when we got home brought a perfect end to our perfect evening. I love being a parent. Really, it is nights like these that I reflect and think how wonderful it is to have a full house, full of crying and screaming at times, but mostly laughter and love. I am a very lucky girl.

The Big Picture: I have wonderful children who give me fun stories to tell and memories to keep.
Why I Kick A$$: Uh, hello I have worked out 4 days in a row.

Thankful Three
  1. For a great trip with a great friend
  2. For a super sexy husband who teaches me how to change a tire
  3. For no fibromyalgia specific pain in 2 weeks. Eat better, excercise=minimization of pain
